Summary
TV Remote has no accounts, ads or analytics. It talks only to your TV over your local Wi-Fi. Nothing is sent to us or to other servers.
What the app uses
Your local network: to find TVs and send button presses, typed text and gamepad input to the TV you choose.
Motion sensors (gamepad motion mode only, when you turn it on): tilt is turned into controller input and sent to the TV.
The TV's app list and icons, to show shortcuts to TV apps.
What is stored on your phone
The address of the last TV you used, your theme setting, and the pairing keys the app creates so the TV recognises your phone. They stay on the phone and are deleted when you uninstall the app.
Ratings and feedback
Rating the app goes through Google Play under Google's privacy policy. Feedback is sent only if you choose to, by email from your own mail app, and is used only to reply and improve the app.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
