Style Pro AI - Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Style Pro AI handles your data.
The short version
You take a selfie. We send it to our AI for analysis. We do not store your photo unless you create an account and explicitly opt in. We never sell your data. We use trusted AI providers to perform the analysis. Read the full version below for the details.
What we collect
Selfie images— held in memory for the request, then immediately discarded. If you sign in and toggle “Retain images” on, the image is uploaded to our private storage. Default is off.
Analysis results— the JSON we get back (skin tone, undertone, face shape, etc.). Stored only if you sign in and toggle “Retain analyses” on.
Account data — when you sign in, your email + name + avatar from your sign-in provider (Google).
Usage data — anonymous metrics: which features you use, error reports. No personal content. We use this to find bugs and improve the app.
Per-device data— your wishlist, history, diary entries, saved looks. These live in your browser's localStorage. They never leave your device unless you sign in.
Outbound product clicks— when you click “Buy” on a product card, we log the click (product ID, destination, referrer, coarse country from your IP — no precise IP stored, no cookies set by us). This is for affiliate attribution and aggregate analytics only.
Who processes your data
AI providers (Microsoft Azure OpenAI / OpenAI) — perform the visual analysis. Your image is sent for analysis and, per their published API policies, is not used to train their models.
Microsoft Azure — hosts our application, database, and file storage (Azure App Service, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Azure Blob Storage). Any account data and opt-in retained images/analyses are stored here. Receives standard server logs (IP, user-agent).
Firebase Authentication (Google) — handles sign-in (when enabled).
Stripe — handles subscription payments (when applicable). We never see your card details.
Affiliate networks (Sovrn, Skimlinks, Impact, Amazon Associates)— when you click an outbound product link, the destination retailer may set their own cookies under their domain so we can be credited with a commission if you purchase. We never receive your purchase details — only a binary “converted” signal and the commission amount.
What we do NOT do
We do not sell your data to anyone.
We do not share your selfies or analyses with third parties beyond what's needed to perform the analysis.
We do not use your data to train AI models.
We do not share data across users (your wishlist is yours, no one else can see it).
We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Your rights
You can:
Delete your account at any time from your profile settings. This cascades to every record we hold about you (analyses, looks, diary, conversations) and revokes your authentication.
Export your data in JSON format. Email us.
Opt out of analysis retention — toggle in your profile settings. Default is off.
Withdraw consent at any time by signing out and clearing your browser storage.
If you're an EU/UK user (GDPR) or California user (CCPA), all of the above are your statutory rights and we honor them.
Children
Style Pro AI is intended for users 13 years and older. The face-analysis pipeline includes a minor-protection check: if the analysis suggests a likely minor, we discard the request and store nothing.
