AppsLogix (“AppsLogix,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides the GPS Earth Map & Navigation application (“App”).
This Privacy Policy explains how the App accesses, collects, uses, processes, retains, and shares information when you use its maps, navigation, weather, satellite imagery, nearby-place, route-planning, camera, notification, advertising, and related features.
By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Where required by law, we request your consent before collecting or processing personal or sensitive information.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.
2. Information We Process
The information processed depends on the features you use, the permissions you grant, your device settings, and the services available in your region.
2.1 Location information

Selected places and map locations

Location updates generated while navigation is active
Location information associated with GPS-camera functionality

The App does not request location permission solely to display advertising.
Background or foreground-service location functionality is available; it operates only when initiated or enabled by the user and subject to Android permission controls. A persistent notification may be displayed while an active location service is running.
You can stop location access through the App or your Android device settings. Some navigation and map features will not work without location access.
2.2 Camera and media files
With your permission, the App may access the camera to support features such as:
Capturing photographs
GPS-camera functions
Adding geographic or map information to user-created content
On supported Android versions, the App may access device storage or selected media to save, retrieve, or manage content created through the App.
Photos and locally created files are not uploaded to ''AppsLogix'' servers unless a feature clearly informs you otherwise and obtains any consent required by law.
2.3 Device, application, and network information
The App and its service providers may automatically process information such as:

App version
Language and regional settings

Wi-Fi connection status
Basic device or phone-state information

We do not use READ_BASIC_PHONE_STATE to access call content, SMS messages, contacts, or the user’s telephone conversations.

The App may display advertisements. Subject to your consent, device settings, regional requirements, and service availability, advertising providers may process:

Ad impressions, clicks, and interactions

The App may use Android Privacy Sandbox APIs for advertising measurement, attribution, or interest-based advertising where supported.
We do not use permission-based precise GPS location solely for advertising.
You can control personalised advertising through your device’s privacy or advertising settings and, where presented, the App’s consent-management interface.

With your permission, the App may send notifications concerning:

Feature updates
Offers or promotions, where permitted
You can disable notifications in Android settings.
2.6 Purchase information
If the App offers paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases, transactions are processed by Google Play.
''AppsLogix'' does not directly receive or store your full payment-card details. We may receive purchase status, product identifier, transaction token, subscription status, or licence-validation results necessary to provide purchased content and prevent fraud.

Storage permissions apply primarily to older Android versions. On newer versions, the App should use Android’s scoped-storage or system media-selection mechanisms where available.
5. Legal Bases for Processing
Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar laws apply, we process information under one or more of these legal bases:

7. Sale and Targeted Advertising
''AppsLogix'' does not sell personal information in exchange for money.

Opting out of personalised advertising does not necessarily remove all advertising. You may continue to receive contextual or non-personalised advertisements.
8. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing App functionality, maintaining security, resolving disputes, and satisfying legal obligations.
Retention periods may vary according to data type:
Location used for live map or navigation functions may be processed temporarily for the active request or session.
Locally saved routes, preferences, photographs, and files remain on your device until you delete them, clear App data, or uninstall the App.
Support communications may be retained while necessary to resolve the request and maintain appropriate business records.
Analytics, advertising, diagnostic, attribution, and purchase information is retained according to the applicable provider’s settings and policies.
Information required for fraud prevention, legal compliance, accounting, or dispute resolution may be retained for the legally required period.
We do not retain non-personal information “indefinitely” by default.
9. Data Deletion and User Choices
You may:
Disable location, camera, storage, or notification permissions in Android settings
Clear locally stored information through Android’s App settings
Delete photographs, downloaded content, saved routes, or other locally stored items through the App or device where supported
Reset or delete the Advertising ID through Android settings
Manage Privacy Sandbox settings on supported Android devices

Please identify the nature of your request. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity. We cannot directly retrieve or delete information stored only on your device; you can remove that information by clearing App data or uninstalling the App.
No user account
If the current version of the App does not allow users to create an AppsLogix account, Google Play’s account-deletion requirement does not apply. If account creation is introduced, we will provide account deletion both inside the App and through an external web page, as required by Google Play.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
Personal and sensitive information transmitted between the App and online services is intended to be protected using secure network protocols such as HTTPS. However, no electronic transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International Data Transfers
AppsLogix and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. These countries may have different data-protection laws.
Where required, transfers are protected through legally recognised safeguards, contractual measures, adequacy decisions, consent, or other permitted transfer mechanisms.
12. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required in the applicable jurisdiction.

If AppsLogix later targets the App to children, we will update its data practices, advertising configuration, SDKs, permissions, target-audience declaration, and privacy disclosures to comply with the Google Play Families Policy and applicable children’s privacy laws.
