A. Intruder Selfie Data (Camera Images)
What we collect: If you enable the "Intruder Capture" or "Intruder Selfie" feature, AppsGate uses your device's camera to capture an image when an incorrect PIN, Pattern, or Password is attempted.
How we store it: These images are stored strictly locally on your device's internal storage. They are never uploaded to our servers, cloud storage, or shared with third parties by AppsGate.
Your Control: You can view, delete, or manage these images directly within the app. You can disable this feature at any time in the app settings.
B. Usage Statistics (App Lock Functionality)
What we collect: To lock specific apps, we require the "Usage Access" permission to detect when a protected app is opened.
Privacy: This data is processed in real-time on your device to trigger the lock screen. We do not store a history of your app usage on any server.
3. Permissions We Request
To provide security features, AppsGate requests the following sensitive permissions:
Camera: Required solely for the "Intruder Selfie" feature to photograph unauthorized access attempts.
Usage Access: Required to detect when you open a locked app so we can show the password screen.
Overlay (Draw Over Other Apps): Required to display the lock screen and the "Intruder" warning over other applications.
Storage (Read/Write): Required to save Intruder Selfie photos to your device so you can view them later.
4. Third-Party Services & Ads
AppsGate may display advertisements to support development. These third-party advertising partners may collect limited data (such as Advertising ID or Device ID) to show relevant ads.

5. Data Security We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your local data. However, please be aware that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to keep your device secure to prevent unauthorized physical access to your local data.
6. Children’s Privacy AppsGate does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The "Intruder Selfie" feature is a passive security tool and does not target children.
