AgeMe — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the AgeMe mobile application ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. By using the App you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Process
- Photos you select or capture. When you choose a photo from your gallery or take one with the camera, the image is sent to our secure processing service and then to our AI provider (Replicate) to generate your transformation. Photos are used only to create the requested result. We do not store your photos on our own servers after processing, and we do not use them to identify you.
- Generated results. The transformed image is returned to your device. If you press Save, it is stored in your device gallery. We do not keep a copy.
- No account data. The App does not require registration. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.
2. Information Collected Automatically (Advertising & Analytics)
The App displays ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect:
- Advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / App Set ID);
- Approximate, non-precise device and usage information (device model, OS version, IP-based coarse region);
- Ad interaction and diagnostic data.
This data is used to show ads (personalized or non-personalized depending on your settings and consent), to limit repetition, and to detect fraud. See the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
3. Third-Party Services
- Google AdMob — advertising. https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Replicate — AI image processing. Photos are transmitted to Replicate solely to generate your result. https://replicate.com/privacy
4. Permissions We Use
- Camera — only when you choose to take a photo.
- Photos / Media — to let you pick an image and to save results.
- Internet / Network state — to process images and serve ads.
- Vibration — subtle haptic feedback in the interface.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or under the age required by your local law, e.g. 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
6. Your Choices & Rights
- Personalized ads: you can reset or delete your Advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in Android Settings > Privacy > Ads.
- GDPR / CCPA: depending on your region you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Because we do not store your photos or maintain accounts, most data is controlled through your device settings and the third-party providers listed above. Contact us for any request.
7. Data Security & Retention
Image transfers use encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Photos are processed transiently and are not retained on our servers after the transformation is delivered. Advertising data is retained by Google per its policies.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
