On iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max, you can see your recording in progress in the Dynamic Island at the top of the Home Screen and in other apps. You can tap the Dynamic Island to navigate back to Voice Memos. See View Live Activities in the Dynamic Island on iPhone.

So I need to repush both the stock voice memo app and apple books app to several users iPads. Unlike "Find My iPone" which allows for VPP licenses, those two stock apps don't seem to allow "purchasing" the free vpp codes. When I search the vpp portal it shows:

Books (and maybe Voice Memo) are built-in iOS "system" apps (like Mail and Calendar). While iOS 12 lets you delete the icons for built-in apps, they don't really go away under the hood as I undertand it so maybe setting them to install without licenses will work with no user interaction if you just set it to auto install

However, now that I have deleted it from the screen, with the message prompted saying that any memo synced to the cloud would remain there, I see that the space is still taken up. I assume I have to hit "delete app" from the storage part of settings, but the warning message reads something like "doing this will delete all the data associated to this iPad. This is irreversible" (I'm translating cause my iPad is set to French). However, I am not sure if deleting the app of my iPad will definitely keep all my memos over on my iPhone, and, most importantly, on the iCloud server, because I do not want to lose everything, so I thought I would check before risking to make a big mistake.

If the app appears like it has been offloaded once I click on it to see why it is still using 38.41 GB (despite, once again, me having deleted it as linked here: Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support; which should have deleted all its data) the app shows as if 1) it was not offloaded and 2) there is still a "Delete App" option

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We see you have some questions about your Voice Memos, and we'd like to help. When you delete the application, the memos should still be saved where you backed them up, as you can restore from that backup at a later date. The following link can walk through how to delete Voice Memos: Edit or delete a recording in Voice Memos on iPhone - Apple Support

It looks like there is confusion here between the Voice memos app and the Voice Memos app data(the actual recordings). When you delete apps from one device, it will never be deleted from another device. With that being said, deleting the Voice Memos app from your iPad will not delete it from your other Apple devices.

That means, if you would like to remove your voice memo recordings from your iPad, and keep them on all other devices, you'll have to turn off iCloud for Voice Memo on your iPad. This way deleting them off your iPad won't delete them from your other devices. (iCloud keeps all devices in sync)

Alright, that's good to know but it's still not what I'm asking: will deleting the voice memo app from my iPad delete the memos from the cloud, or will I be able to keep the memos on the cloud and syncing with my phone?

I want to share my chrome extension here (the Firefox version is coming soon). It is MemoInjo. It could stick a memo on any website and store/sync via Joplin. Simply press the icon of MemoInjo at the extension toolbar (top-right corner) in Chrome. It will show a memo editor for the browsing website. You may create a summary or a task list associated with a website easily.

Methods:  MeMo is a Web app that can be used on any Web browser (computer or tablet). The training activities proposed in MeMo are divided into the following two parts: memory and mental flexibility/attention. The study included 46 individuals (mean age 79.4 years) with a diagnosis of neurocognitive disorders at the Institut Claude Pompidou Memory Center in Nice. This randomized controlled study compared the evolution of cognition and behavior between patients not using MeMo (control group) and patients using MeMo (MeMo group) for 12 weeks (four sessions per week). Patients underwent memory and attention tests, as well as an apathy assessment at baseline, week 12 (end of the training period), and week 24 (12 weeks after the end of the training sessions). In addition, to assess the impact of high and low game uses, the MeMo group was divided into patients who used MeMo according to the instructions (about once every 2 days; active MeMo group) and those who used it less (nonactive MeMo group).

Is there a way to download memos directly from my cloud account. I've attempted synching too many times and out of over 100 memos all I got were 49 and my previous s7 is too damaged to get each memo manually--the screen's completely blacked out after an unfortunate fall.

A more recent study by Abnormal Security confirmed this growth and, unsurprisingly, the associated growth of the risks connected with third-party apps. According to the same study, the average organization integrates 379 third-party apps with email (a 128% increase since 2020), and for large enterprises with 30,000+ employees, the number of integrated third-party apps soars to 3,973 on average, including apps for collaboration, productivity, development, social networking, security, and more. Even worse, across the integrated third-party applications, 37% have high-risk permissions, such as the ability to create and delete emails or users, and even reset user passwords.

Corporate users are too often unaware of the risks deriving from installing third-party apps on their corporate devices (or their personal devices used for corporate purposes) and granting them access to the internal resources (such as email, contacts, etc.). At the same time organizations need to protect themselves from the risks associated with the supply-chain including also third party applications that need to be connected with corporate cloud services.

Provides an option for SaaS app administrators to assess the risk of third-party apps available on well-known app marketplaces so as to help in approving such apps in your organization based on the reputation of the app vendor and the level of permissions being sought.

But here's the catch.. You'll have to deal with buffers, sizes and handles... You'll have to assing a handle to file for reading, get the file size with that handle, set an array with that size, do read to that array and assign, add (whatever) that array to the memo.. Pure usage of WinAPI. Some job for a simple task...

Welcome to Sticky Notes! We're still the best way to write quick notes on your Windows desktop, but now you can also take your sticky notes with you, allowing you to capture, find, and use your notes across apps and your favorite devices.

I am trying to figure out the best way to capture quick voice memos that I can send to the Reminders app as tasks. It seems that Reminders is integrated with just about all of Apples other apps like email, notes, etc. but not voice memos.

Start with a future Press Release and set of FAQs for your big ideas that are rooted in what your customers actually want. Then work backwards to draft a comprehensive memo that provides a roadmap up to your future launch date. This keeps your team focused on delivering value as well as maintaining laser like focus on your market. Ensure the bets you make are delivering real value for your most important stakeholders.

In a new memo, National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo announced her intention to protect employees, to the greatest extent possible, from intrusive or abusive electronic monitoring and automated management practices through vigorously enforcing current law and by urging the Board to apply settled labor-law principles in a new framework.

The memo also notes that the General Counsel is committed to an interagency approach to these issues, as numerous agencies across the federal government are working to prevent employers from violating federal law using electronic surveillance and algorithmic management technologies. The General Counsel has recently signed agreements with the Federal Trade Commission, the Department of Justice, and the Department of Labor which will facilitate information sharing and coordinated enforcement on these issues.

The memo does not elaborate beyond those general guidelines. Instead, the Criminal Division will study best corporate practices regarding the use of personal devices and third-party messaging platforms and publish its findings in the next edition of its Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Programs.

The voice memo will stop recording if a phone call starts while you are recording. You can resume it after the call has ended. You will have to use an alternate method to record a phone call on your iPhone. You can also use a 2nd iPhone recording with voice memo while the other phone makes the call on speaker.

The default voice memo app on an Android device is 'Sound Recorder.' It does not have as many features as the iOS version, but it is a good alternative. You can use it for recording a lecture or meeting, a song from the radio, or your thoughts.

Voice Memo is a free app that comes with all iOS devices. It allows you to record audio and sound, save it to your device, or share it with others. You can download it for free from the App Store if it is not currently on your phone. If you are looking for third-party recording apps, you can find more information here. ff782bc1db
