Sprestay ("we", "us", "our") operates the Nutrient Essentials mobile 

application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, 

store, and share information when you use our App, and the choices you 

have associated with that information.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in 

accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you create an account and use the App, we collect the following 

information that you voluntarily provide:

- Account information: name, email address, phone number (depending on 

  the sign-in method you choose: Email, Phone, or Sign in with Apple).

- Profile information: date of birth, gender (biological sex), body 

  weight, physiological state (e.g., pregnancy, breastfeeding, high 

  physical activity). This information is required to calculate your 

  personalized nutritional needs based on official guidelines from the 

  World Health Organization (WHO), USDA, and NIH.

- Dietary preferences: favorite products, blacklisted products, custom 

  diet configurations.

- Subscription information: subscription status and renewal dates. 

  We do NOT collect or store your payment card information — all 

  payments are processed by Apple through the App Store, and we only 

  receive confirmation of your subscription status.

We automatically collect:

- Diagnostic data: crash reports and error logs (via Firebase 

  Crashlytics) to improve App stability. This may include device model, 

  operating system version, and anonymized device identifiers.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to:

- Create and manage your account.

- Calculate personalized nutritional recommendations based on WHO, USDA, 

  and NIH dietary reference intakes.

- Generate diet plans tailored to your age, gender, weight, and 

  physiological state.

- Provide and maintain the App's features.

- Process and manage your subscription.

- Diagnose and fix bugs and improve App performance.

- Communicate with you about your account or our Service.

3. HEALTH AND NUTRITION DATA

The App collects and processes information related to your nutrition 

and physical characteristics (age, sex, weight, physiological state). 

This data is used solely within the App to generate personalized dietary 

recommendations and is never shared with advertisers, data brokers, or 

unrelated third parties.

This data is NOT a medical record and is NOT shared with healthcare 

providers, insurance companies, or any third party for medical or 

commercial purposes.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We use the following third-party services that may process your data 

on our behalf:

- Firebase Authentication (Google LLC) — for secure sign-in.

- Cloud Firestore (Google LLC) — to store your profile and dietary data.

- Firebase Storage (Google LLC) — to store profile images.

- Firebase Cloud Functions (Google LLC) — to run server-side logic.

- Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) — to collect crash reports.

- Apple App Store / StoreKit (Apple Inc.) — to process subscription 

  purchases.

- Sign in with Apple (Apple Inc.) — for optional sign-in.

These providers act as data processors and are contractually obligated 

to handle your data securely and only for the purposes described above.

5. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY

Your data is stored on secure servers operated by Google Firebase 

(within Google Cloud infrastructure). We use commercially reasonable 

technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access 

controls) to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure, and 

we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. DATA RETENTION

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you 

delete your account, we will delete your personal data from our active 

systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

You have the right to:

- Access the personal data we hold about you.

- Correct or update your data through the App's profile settings.

- DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT AND ALL ASSOCIATED DATA at any time, directly 

  from the App (Profile → Delete Account).

- Withdraw consent and stop using the App.

- Export a copy of your data (contact us by email).

8. SUBSCRIPTIONS

The App offers auto-renewable subscriptions processed by Apple. We do 

not have access to your payment information. To manage or cancel your 

subscription, go to: Settings → [your Apple ID] → Subscriptions on 

your iOS device.

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not 

knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe 

a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us 

and we will delete it.

10. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Your data may be processed in countries outside your country of 

residence (including the United States, where Firebase servers are 

located). By using the App, you consent to such transfers.

11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be 

posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage 

you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
