ApplyLog is a Chrome extension designed to help users automatically track job applications and maintain a personal application history.
This Privacy Policy explains what information ApplyLog accesses, how it is used, and where it is stored.
To detect when a job application has been successfully submitted, ApplyLog may inspect content available on webpages you visit, including page text, page title, website URL, job/company information, and application confirmation messages.
This access is used only to identify job-application activity and create application records.
ApplyLog does not use webpage access for advertising or selling user data.
ApplyLog may create records containing information such as:
Company name
Job title or role
Job platform or website
Job/application URL
Date and time of application
Whether the application was detected automatically or added manually
In the current version of ApplyLog, job application history is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's local storage.
Application history is not uploaded to ApplyLog's cloud database for synchronization.
Removing the extension or clearing browser/extension storage may permanently remove locally stored application data. Users should use available export functionality where appropriate to maintain their own backup.
If you create an ApplyLog account, information required for authentication, such as your email address and account identifiers, is processed using Supabase.
ApplyLog may also store account-related information such as your plan, subscription status, subscription identifier, and subscription period information to determine whether Pro features should be available.
ApplyLog Pro payments are processed through Razorpay.
ApplyLog does not directly collect or store your complete card number, bank account credentials, UPI credentials, or other payment authentication information entered on Razorpay's payment pages.
Razorpay may process information according to its own privacy policy and payment-processing requirements.
Information accessed or processed by ApplyLog is used to provide core product functionality, including automatically detecting job applications, displaying application history and statistics, enabling account authentication, determining Free or Pro access, processing subscription status, preventing duplicate application records, and troubleshooting product functionality.
We do not sell personal information.
We do not use personal information for targeted advertising.
ApplyLog requires access to supported webpages because job applications can be submitted through many different recruitment platforms and company websites.
Webpage access is used to detect application-related information and successful submission signals.
ApplyLog intentionally excludes certain sensitive websites and services from its automatic webpage detection where configured by the extension.
Application history, preferences, detection settings, and certain extension-related information may be stored locally through Chrome extension storage.
Authentication session information may also be stored locally so that users can remain signed in.
ApplyLog currently relies on third-party service providers for specific functionality, including:
Supabase — account authentication and subscription/account information.
Razorpay — payment and subscription processing.
These providers may process information according to their respective privacy policies.
Locally stored application information remains in your browser until it is deleted through ApplyLog, browser/extension storage is cleared, or the extension is removed, subject to Chrome's storage behavior.
Account and subscription information may be retained where necessary to operate accounts, maintain subscription records, comply with applicable legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse.
For questions or requests concerning ApplyLog account information, users may contact us using the email address below.
We use reasonable technical measures designed to protect account and subscription information.
Sensitive backend credentials, including payment-provider secret keys, are not intentionally included in the public Chrome extension.
No online service can guarantee absolute security.
ApplyLog is intended for job seekers and is not designed specifically for children. We do not knowingly design the service to collect personal information from children.
This Privacy Policy may be updated as ApplyLog develops, including when new features such as cloud synchronization are introduced.
Material changes to how user information is handled will be reflected in an updated version of this policy.
