This Privacy Policy applies to the App Lock Fingerprint Applock (hereby referred to as the "Application") for mobile devices that was developed by Mizcolz Studio (hereinafter referred to as the "Service Provider") as a service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information in compliance with Google Play policies and global data protection laws, including GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), LGPD (Brazil), VCDPA (Virginia), CDPA (Connecticut), and UCPA (Utah).

c) App Info and Performance (Diagnostics)
We may collect diagnostic information related to app performance on your device, including:
• Crash logs and error reports
• App loading time and performance metrics
• Latency and stability information
• Device state information at the time of a crash
• Technical diagnostics data
This data may be shared with third-party services such as Firebase Crashlytics for analytics and app performance monitoring.
d) Media & Storage Access (Photos, Videos, Audio)
We access and process photos, videos, and audio files stored on your device only when you use specific features such as intruder detection.
This data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
We do NOT collect, store, share, or upload this data to any external servers or third parties.
Fingerprint or biometric authentication is processed entirely by the Android operating system.
We do not store or access your biometric data.
Identifiers (Advertising ID, IP address, device identifiers)
Internet or network activity information (usage data, app interactions)
Photos, videos, and audio files (collected and processed locally on the device for app functionality such as intruder detection)
App performance and diagnostic information (crash logs, technical diagnostics)
We do not sell personal information.

We do not collect or process personal data beyond what is necessary for app functionality, analytics, security, and advertising purposes.
4- Data Retention Policy
Personal data (such as name/email if provided for support) will be securely deleted within 30–90 days of app uninstallation, inactivity, or upon receiving a verified deletion request. Non-personal data (such as crash logs or analytics) may be retained longer in aggregated/anonymized form for service improvement.

You can limit personalized advertising by adjusting your device advertising settings. You may also stop using the Application at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

13- App Permissions
We need the following permission to operate some features of our applications:
android.permission.PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS – Used to detect which apps are opened so we can lock selected applications for security purposes.
android.permission.QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES – Used to display the list of installed apps so users can choose which apps to lock.
android.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW – Used to display the lock screen overlay on top of protected apps.
android.permission.ACTION_MANAGE_OVERLAY_PERMISSION – Required to allow users to grant overlay access needed for app locking functionality.
android.permission.USE_BIOMETRIC / android.permission.USE_FINGERPRINT – Used for fingerprint authentication to unlock apps securely (biometric data is processed by the device and never stored by us).
android.permission.CAMERA – Used to capture intruder selfies when someone enters an incorrect password (if enabled by the user).
android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE – Used to access images stored on your device for intruder detection features. Data is processed locally and not shared.
android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE – Used to save intruder detection images locally on your device. This data is not transmitted or shared.
android.gms.permission.AD_ID / android.permission.ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID – Used to collect the Advertising ID for showing relevant ads and measuring ad performance.
android.permission.ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION – Used to measure ad campaign performance and install attribution.
android.permission.ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS – Used to support privacy-friendly advertising under Android’s Topics API.
com.google.android.finsky.permission.BIND_GET_INSTALL_REFERRER_SERVICE – Used to track app installs for marketing attribution purposes.
com.android.vending.BILLING – Used to process secure in-app purchases through Google Play Billing.
android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS – Used to send security alerts and important app notifications.
We request only the minimum necessary permissions and do not misuse them for unrelated purposes.

If you believe that we have processed your personal data in a manner that is not in compliance with applicable data protection laws, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. 18- In-App Purchases
Our app offers in-app purchases to unlock premium features, remove ads, or access advanced tools.
What We Collect: Payment details are processed securely via the Google app store (e.g., Google Play). We do not store or access your payment information (e.g., credit card details).
Purpose: Unlock premium features, remove ads, or enhance functionality.
Third-Party Payment Processing: Transactions are managed by trusted platforms like Google Play, which process payments per their privacy policies.
User Rights: Manage or cancel subscriptions via your app store account. Refunds are subject to Google Play’s policies.
19- Children Privacy:
This app is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country, which may be up to 16 under GDPR). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we discover that a child has provided personal information, we will delete it immediately. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided data may contact us at support@mizcolzstudio.com .
20- Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Mizcolz Studio also serves as the Data Protection Officer (DPO).

Our applications are available globally, including in the European Union (EU). While Mizcolz Studio is based outside the EU and has not yet appointed a formal EU Representative under Article 27 of the GDPR, we ensure that all GDPR-related requests from EU users are handled directly by our DPO.
