Welcome to AppLock - Fingerprint & PIN, developed by Nigeriacamera ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using AppLock - Fingerprint & PIN (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
If you are using the App on behalf of an organization or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. In such case, "you" and "your" refer to that organization.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App following any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
AppLock - Fingerprint & PIN is an application security and privacy utility that allows users to protect selected applications on their device using security features such as a PIN, password, fingerprint authentication, or other supported device authentication methods.
The App may provide features including:
Locking selected applications with a PIN or password.
Unlocking protected applications using supported authentication methods.
Using fingerprint or biometric authentication where supported by the device and operating system.
Managing the list of applications protected by the App.
Changing or managing security settings.
Configuring available privacy and protection options.
Using other application-locking and security features provided by the App.
The availability and behavior of specific features may vary depending on the device, operating system version, manufacturer, system settings, and permissions granted to the App.
Users are solely responsible for:
Choosing and maintaining their PIN, password, or other security credentials used with the App.
Keeping their device and authentication information secure.
Configuring the App according to their personal security requirements.
Ensuring that their use of the App complies with applicable laws and regulations.
Understanding the permissions and system features required for the App to operate.
The App does not guarantee that it can prevent all unauthorized access to a device, application, account, or information.
The App may use device capabilities and Android system features to provide application-locking and authentication functionality.
Where supported, the App may rely on biometric authentication provided by the device's operating system. Biometric authentication is handled according to the capabilities and security mechanisms provided by the device and operating system.
The App does not control or guarantee the accuracy, availability, or security of biometric authentication provided by the device.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, including:
Your device passcode or lock screen security.
Your fingerprint or other biometric enrollment.
Your PIN or password used with the App.
Access to your device and user accounts.
You should not disclose your AppLock PIN, password, or other security credentials to unauthorized persons.
Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, the App may interact with information required to provide application-locking and security functionality.
Certain settings, security configurations, or application-related information may be stored locally on your device.
You are responsible for reviewing the App's Privacy Policy to understand how information may be collected, used, stored, and processed.
The App does not guarantee that security features will protect all information stored on your device against every possible security threat, unauthorized access, malware, system compromise, or other security incident.
Certain AppLock features may require access to Android system capabilities or permissions.
Depending on the features provided by the App, these may include permissions or system capabilities used to:
Detect when protected applications are launched.
Display the AppLock authentication interface when required.
Monitor application usage or activity necessary for locking functionality.
Provide overlay or accessibility-related functionality where applicable.
Support device or system security features.
The App only uses such capabilities to the extent necessary to provide supported AppLock functionality.
You are responsible for reviewing and granting permissions that you are comfortable providing. You may revoke permissions through your device settings, although doing so may cause certain AppLock features to stop functioning properly.
You agree to use AppLock - Fingerprint & PIN responsibly and only for lawful purposes.
You must not use the App to:
Violate any applicable law or regulation.
Gain unauthorized access to another person's device, application, account, or information.
Circumvent security measures without authorization.
Monitor, control, or interfere with another person's device without appropriate authorization.
Use the App for fraud, harassment, stalking, abuse, or other harmful activities.
Attempt to compromise, disable, or interfere with the security of the App or the device.
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except where legally permitted.
Attempt to bypass technical restrictions or security mechanisms.
Use the App to facilitate unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or information.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right and authorization to configure and use AppLock on any device or application you protect.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the App where we reasonably believe that it is being used for unlawful, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.
Certain features of AppLock - Fingerprint & PIN may require a paid subscription ("Premium Subscription") or other in-app purchase.
Subscription plans may be offered on a weekly, monthly, yearly, or other recurring basis. Prices, billing periods, and available features will be clearly displayed within the App before purchase.
Payments are processed through the applicable app marketplace, including Google Play Store or Apple App Store. We do not collect or store users' payment card information.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date through the applicable app store account settings.
You may manage or cancel your subscription through your Google Play Store or Apple App Store account settings. Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Any free trial offered by the App may be canceled before the trial period ends. If a Premium Subscription is purchased during a free trial period, any unused portion of the trial may be forfeited according to the applicable platform's policies.
Refund requests are handled according to the refund policies of the platform through which the purchase was made.
We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing, features, and plans at any time. Such changes will generally apply to future purchases or subscription renewals, subject to applicable law and platform requirements.
The App may display advertisements and may use third-party services for advertising, analytics, crash reporting, authentication-related functionality, or other technical purposes.
Third-party services may collect information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, security, or practices of third-party advertisements or services that we do not control.
All software, trademarks, logos, graphics, designs, text, interfaces, icons, visual elements, and other materials included in the App are owned by Nigeriacamera or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not:
Copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit the App without authorization.
Modify or create derivative works based on the App, except where permitted by applicable law.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except where expressly permitted by applicable law.
Attempt to derive the source code of the App.
Use our trademarks, branding, copyrighted materials, or other proprietary assets without written permission.
Remove or alter proprietary notices.
Attempt to bypass technical restrictions or security mechanisms.
Security settings, application selections, PIN-related configuration, and other App preferences may be stored locally on your device depending on the features you use.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security and backups for information that is important to you.
We do not guarantee that App settings or other locally stored information will always be preserved, recoverable, or available.
Deleting the App, clearing App data, changing devices, resetting the device, changing operating system settings, device failure, or other circumstances may result in the loss or reset of certain App settings or security configurations.
You agree not to:
Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
Violate any applicable law or regulation.
Infringe the rights of another person or entity.
Use the App to facilitate fraud, harassment, abuse, stalking, or other harmful activities.
Upload or distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code through the App.
Interfere with the operation, security, or performance of the App.
Attempt unauthorized access to systems, networks, devices, applications, or accounts.
Use bots, crawlers, scrapers, or automated tools to access the App without authorization.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except where legally permitted.
Attempt to bypass technical restrictions or security mechanisms.
Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or entity.
Use the App to obtain unauthorized access to another person's private information.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if these Terms are violated.
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Nigeriacamera disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:
Merchantability.
Fitness for a particular purpose.
Non-infringement.
Availability.
Accuracy.
Reliability.
Uninterrupted operation.
Security.
We do not guarantee that:
The App will always function without interruption.
The App will be error-free or completely secure.
App-locking functionality will operate identically on every device.
All supported applications can always be successfully protected.
PIN, password, fingerprint, biometric, or other authentication features will always be available.
The App will prevent every form of unauthorized access.
The App will remain compatible with every device or operating system version.
Device manufacturers or operating system updates will not affect AppLock functionality.
Third-party services or advertisements will remain available.
No security application can guarantee complete protection against all unauthorized access, malware, vulnerabilities, or other security threats.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nigeriacamera, its affiliates, employees, officers, licensors, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to:
Your use or inability to use the App.
Failure of an application-locking or authentication feature.
Unauthorized access to your device, applications, accounts, or information.
Loss, corruption, deletion, or unavailability of App settings or other data.
Device failures, operating system changes, or manufacturer-specific behavior.
Security vulnerabilities or incidents beyond our reasonable control.
Subscription purchases or payment processing.
Service interruptions, outages, or technical failures.
Unauthorized access to systems or information.
Your use of the App is entirely at your own risk.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Nigeriacamera, its affiliates, employees, officers, licensors, and partners from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of:
Your use of the App.
Your violation of these Terms.
Your violation of applicable laws.
Your misuse of the App.
Your unauthorized use of the App on another person's device.
Your violation of third-party rights.
Your attempt to circumvent security mechanisms or access controls.
Your use of the App in connection with unlawful or harmful activities.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms or applicable laws.
Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and applicable legal provisions, will remain in effect.
These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in your jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after any changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
