Applied Soft Computing Lab. covers a broad variety of issues in the fields of computer vision, machine learning and their applications. Computer vision techniques are now an integral part of the modern industries and consumer electronics. On the other hand, machine learning techniques are extensively applied to handle the complex data in image processing and computer vision applications. Particularly, ASC Lab is emphasizing research on 3D shape recovery from image focus using machine learning techniques.
