Academics

The Department offers Masters of Technology programmes in – (i) Engineering Analysis, & Design. Students admitted to the M.Tech. programme in Engineering Mechanics can opt for specialization in either (a) Engineering Mechanics (b) Product Design. With in Engineering Mechanics students can choose to work in Solid Mechanics or Fluid Mechanics.

A Masters of Science (Research) programme is also offered with specialization in Applied Mechanics.

A Postgraduate Diploma course in Naval Construction is also offered, in collaboration with the Indian Navy, to officers sponsored by Indian Navy. The course is of one and a half years duration.
