RAGA 2026 participants have the opportunity to work on this project over the next year, with a week-long research stay, and the opportunity to present results at RAGA 2027!
Feel free to reach out to us. Though this year is an experimental launch, it is possible we can help support projects in the following year pending funding.
For each project we need:
A leader of the project who will commit to organizational tasks such as selecting group members, scheduling the week visit, and making sure the project stays on task. Typically a mathematician with experience in applications or interest in applying their mathematical expertise in geometry and/or algebra.
A subject expert typically from the industry or applied science, give ideas on topics of interest, help guide the assumptions that may or may not be useful in making assumptions. You don't need to be a mathematician, just a problem and a willingness to work with mathematicians, and to explain your field to the mathematicians like they are non-experts.
If you are interested in being a leader or a subject expert, please reach out and we'd be happy to consider proposals for future working groups.
