Five Areas of Emphasis - Be Internet Awesome
The Applied Digital Skills Curriculum addresses five general ways to "Be".
Smart
Strong
Alert
Kind
Brave
Yet this is not preachy content, students apply the concepts they learn to projects like writing thank you notes, creating strong passwords, writing résumés and also how to learn online. Some lessons are grouped into Collections where each individual lesson relates to the others.
Finally, each project is supported with digital and written directions for students to follow at their own pace. Combine this with the ability for teachers to assign content to Google Classroom, track students' progress, and filter by audience, digital tool, and topic.
Applied Digital Skills Choice Board - a blend of learning digital activities and game play reinforcement. Make a copy and add/replace with your own non-digital activities.
