The New Jubilee Loop

The New Jubilee Loop is a 4.5km cow-free suggested route starting from Jubilee Park.

Directions

  1. From the park, head along the lane to the war memorial.

  2. Turn right up Netherton Road until you get to Millway Lane

  3. Follow Millway Lane all the way to the bottom.
It's quite a steep downhill, so be careful with small children on wheels!

  4. Turn right and follow the path to Green Lane.

  5. Turn right onto green lane and follow it up the hill all the way to the park.
Again, this is quite steep, so carful with any wheeled children if you're coming down this way.

  6. Repeat as many times as necessary, in either direction!

The Moobilee Loop

The Jubilee Loop is the original 5.5km suggested route starting from Jubilee Park.
Please note, that this route is currently quite boggy due to the rain, and there are cows in the field over the river.

Directions

  1. From the park, head back up Badswell lane and take a left after the tennis courts down the lock road down towards Barefoot Campsites.

  2. Enjoy the views at the top and an ice cream at the bottom.
The campsite is open, so watch for cars.
It's a steep downhill, so be careful with small children on wheels!

  3. Cross over the historic Northmoor Lock, turn left and follow the river upstream to Rainbow Bridge.
Beware of cows! Walk, don't run, past the cows.

  4. Cross over Rainbow Bridge and make your way back through the woods, travelling parallel to the river.
This can be boggy and is uneven underfoot so take care here, especially if you are running.

  5. Turn right onto green lane and follow it up the hill all the way to the park.
Again, this is quite steep, so carful with any wheeled children if you're coming down this way.

  6. Repeat as many times as necessary, in either direction!
