I started this journey while I was in college, selling handmade wreaths and silk floral arrangements as a little side gig to help pay rent. Fast forward to getting married and having three kids, I started houseplants as a hobby and was often let down by the poor quality/lack of care from big box stores, so I started propagating and growing my own and that's where Appalachian Mama officially began. After a year of setting up at local events and selling via Facebook, I'm ready to expand and continue to grow this business. After hearing that one of our biggest local florists was retiring and closing shop, I felt the pull in my heart to start offering florist services as well. I'm glad you're here!
