Happy Fall! We're excited to bring you this month several opportunities to partner with us to support your student's academic growth.
We hope you will join us for Virtual Parent-Teacher conferences the November 16th or 17th. See the sign-up link below to register!
Join us on Saturday, November 18th for the Parent Association's annual Family APPA Thanksgiving Potluck. All families are welcome to join us for this wonderful event, which always has a tremendous amount of food. Every family that attends has the opportunity to win a turkey! See below to register!
As the first marking period comes to an end this month, please do not hesitate to reach out to any of us here with any questions or concerns. We're here to support you in supporting your child.

Únase a nosotros el sábado 18 de noviembre para la comida compartida anual de Acción de Gracias de APPA familiar de la Asociación de Padres. Parent-Teacher Conferences
You can sign up now for a November conference with your students teachers! Conferences the evening of November 16th and afternoon of the 17th.
Also, note that school dismisses at 11:40 on Friday the 24th. Grab and Go lunches will be available.

High School Applications
Be a high school student at APPA! We hope your 8th Grader will apply now to continue with us in high school! Please reach out to Ms. Muniz for details before the Decmber 3rd deadline.
Annual Potluck Luncheon
Join us for a day of family unity, good food, raffles, and lots of fund.

Parent Portal
Please be sure to click here to register for the city's new Parent Portal. You will need your student's OSIS number to register. If you have any issues, please reach out to our Parent Coordinator, Ms. Williams, here at the school
Military Recruitment Opt-Out
From time to time, military recruiters visit the campus to set up a table in the cafeteria or at events like career day. Please see this link to opt your students out of this information.
Fall Festival Day
The entire APPA community had a terrific time at last month's Fall Festival! Students appreciated the games, activities, and first ever APPA Petting Zoo!
If you were not able to join us, you will have another opportunity this spring at our International Day Fair! See you then!
Sign Up for YMCA After School Program
APPA's middle school after school program, run by the YMCA, is free of charge and a terrific way to futher support your student. The program is available for all APPA students in grades 6-8. It runs every day after school from 2:50 to 6:00 pm. Students will participate in enrichment activites, acadmic support, art, STEM, and lots more. They even get a snack!
