1. Introduction
Thank you for using App Activity Detector. Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to maintaining transparency about how we handle data and permissions. This Privacy Policy outlines what information we access, how it's used, how ads are delivered through third-party providers, and your rights as a user.
By using this app, you agree to the practices described below.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, or media files. All app functionality is designed to run entirely on your device, and no user data is stored on our servers.
To provide the core features of the app, we request the following permissions:
INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: These are required to check network connectivity and to serve advertisements using Google AdMob.
PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS: This permission is used to analyze your app usage history. It enables features such as time tracking, detecting unused apps, and identifying apps running in the background.
QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES: This permission is needed to scan and categorize all installed apps. It allows the app to detect hidden apps, auto-start apps, and apps that may display advertisements or have not been used recently.
All information accessed under these permissions is used strictly on your device. We do not collect or transmit this data.
App Activity Detector includes the following features:
Ad Detector + Time Tracker: Helps identify apps that may display ads and tracks how much time you spend in each app.
Auto-Start App Checker: Finds apps that are configured to launch automatically at device boot.
Hidden App Manager: Detects apps that are hidden from the launcher or home screen.
Unused App Optimizer: Identifies apps that have not been used for an extended period to help you manage device storage and performance.
All these features operate entirely offline. The data is processed locally and is not shared, uploaded, or stored externally.
We use Google AdMob to display ads within the app. AdMob may collect and process certain data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. This includes:
Device information (such as Android Advertising ID)
IP address and general location (approximate, not precise)
App interaction (e.g., ad impressions and clicks)

We take all reasonable precautions to ensure the data accessed by the app is handled securely and remains on your device.
App Activity Detector is not designed for or marketed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. AdMob may limit ad personalization for users identified as children, based on regional laws and device settings.
