Kidou Tech Studio built the Pura app as a free application. This Service is provided by Kidou Tech Studio free of charge and is intended for informational purposes only.
By using this Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
To provide a better experience while using our Service, Pura may request certain device permissions and process limited information.
Pura uses your device camera to scan product barcodes. Camera access is used only for barcode scanning and is never used to record or store personal images or videos.
When a barcode is scanned, Pura retrieves publicly available product information such as:

Nutrition facts
Product categories
Product details from public databases
This information is used solely to provide product analysis, health scoring, and related insights.
The app requires internet access to retrieve product information from public product databases.

This information is used strictly to improve app stability, compatibility, and performance.
Pura may optionally store scan history locally on your device to help you review previously scanned products.
This data is stored only on your device unless otherwise stated and is not shared with Kidou Tech Studio servers.

Public product databases (such as Open Food Facts)

Stored locally on your device until deleted by you or removed when the app is uninstalled.
Product Lookup Requests
Temporary requests are sent to public product databases only to retrieve product details and are not stored by Kidou Tech Studio.
Technical Analytics Data
If collected, this data is retained only as long as necessary to improve app performance and generally no longer than 12 months.
Users may delete their data at any time by:
Clearing scan history inside the Pura app settings
Clearing app storage through device settings
Uninstalling the app, which removes locally stored app data

Where applicable, deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
We value your trust and use commercially acceptable means to protect information processed by the app.
