This intuitive and secure app is designed to help you accurately and thoroughly document each epilepsy episode, transforming scattered information into structured data ready for professional medical analysis.
Key Features:
Detailed and Rapid Recording: Document pre-seizure symptoms (aura), seizure characteristics (duration, movements, level of consciousness), and triggers (stress, lack of sleep, medications) immediately or shortly afterward.
Multimedia Documentation: Add voice notes, photos, or videos (if applicable) to supplement episode descriptions, providing a richer perspective for analysis.
Secure AWS Platform: All your health records are securely stored on a robust backend hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), ensuring maximum data protection and privacy.
Advanced Clinical Analysis: Your data is processed in a dedicated dashboard. This structure allows your medical team (neurologists and epilepsy specialists) to identify patterns, triggers, and the effectiveness of your current treatment with unprecedented clarity.
Simplified Medical Collaboration: Facilitate more effective communication with your doctor. By presenting consistent and structured data, decisions about your treatment plan will be based on real and detailed evidence, optimizing your care.
Collecting and using your personnel Data
Your health data (records of epilepsy episodes, symptoms, and documented characteristics) is shared with third parties in the following circumstances, which are considered essential for the application's core functionality:
Processing and Hosting (AWS): We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) for the secure hosting and processing of data. AWS acts as our backend provider, ensuring the necessary infrastructure for data management and security.
Specialized Medical Analysis: The user's documented information is processed and made available, through an analytical dashboard, to physicians specializing in neurology and epilepsy treatment. The purpose of this disclosure is to allow these professionals to analyze patterns, treatment effectiveness, and provide better medical care. These physicians and associated entities are subject to strict confidentiality agreements to protect the privacy of the shared health data.

Permissions
Each permission is crucial for enabling the functionalities that securely and effectively document and transmit epilepsy episodes.
1. Android.permission.INTERNET
Essential for the app's core function. This permission allows the app to send detailed records of epilepsy episodes, along with any media files (photos/audio), to the backend hosted on AWS (Amazon Web Services) for processing in the medical analytics dashboard. Without this permission, the app would not be able to fulfill its purpose of sharing data with specialists.
2. Android.permission.CAMERA
Required for visual documentation. Allows users to take photos or record short videos during or immediately after an episode. This visual material is essential for clinicians to gain an objective and detailed understanding of the seizure characteristics.
3. Android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO
Access to the microphone for audio recording. Rationale: Allows users to create voice notes or record ambient sound during a seizure. This is valuable for documenting audible symptoms, the duration of vocalizations, or the witness's account in real time, complementing written and visual records.
4. Android.permission.MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS
Modify global audio settings (volume, routing). Justification: Although not directly for recording, this permission is often required in conjunction with RECORD_AUDIO to manage how audio is captured and processed. This can include controlling microphone gain, managing noise cancellation, or ensuring that audio recording works correctly in different device modes (such as with headphones or speakers). It is a technical dependency for optimizing the voice memo recording function.
We request all these permissions from the user within the application and do not share this information with third parties.
