The Associated Press omitted mention of Seymour Hersh’s exposè on the U.S. sabotage of Nord Stream from their article.

AP is the Associated Press. AP omitted mention of Hersh's exposè from their article in order to support a claim made by U.S., UK, France and others about “the real reason Russia raised Nord Stream 1 and 2” then.  U.S. UK, France and others had claimed that the reason Nord Stream 1 and 2 was raised by Russia at that point in time, Feb. 23rd, “was to divert attention from the first anniversary of its invasion of Ukraine …” and in order to make their excuse sound as if it was a plausible reason, and not a pathetic made-up reason, AP omitted the fact that Hersh's exposè had just been released at that point in time and that Russia was mentioning it and pointing to it as the reason for why they wanted an independent investigation.

The fact was that Hersh's exposè had just been published then. And any honest person would understand that the reason Russia raised the issue then (2/23) was that Hersh's exposè had just been published then (2/23.)

In order to mislead readers, AP omitted mention of what Russia was referring to (Hersh's exposè) and what Jeffrey Sachs, in his speech at the U.N. Security Council, had cited (Hersh's exposè.)

AP was trying to help “U.S. UK, France and others” sell their BS explanation about why Russia was talking about Nord Stream 1 and 2 at that point in time.

Russia was talking about Nord Stream 1 and 2 at that point in time because at that point in time Hersh’s article had been recently released and that was what Russia kept pointing to and what Jeffrey Sachs cited at the U.N. Security Council.
