What should he be held accountable for? What have you wished to hear him say? "Apologize to America" is a speculative and participatory project that leverages SnapChat's AR Lens Studio to invite the public to perform apologies we could never hope to hear from him. It aims to provide an opportunity for communal catharsis while at the same time asserting the need for accountability. Part wish-fulfillment, part tactical media intervention, "Apologize to America" aims to collectively build, however fantastical, a reality we all deserve. May the public speak the words on his behalf they wish to hear.
