I went to Heist Barrel and Brewery Arts last Sunday, where they were hosting an event called Shakedown Sundays with a live band and multiple different vendors. The band in particular is a Grateful Dead cover band out of Charlotte ran by Ben & Cooper (The bassist and lead guitarist) that me and my friends personally love. It was a first for me shooting in a concert like environment and I'm looking forward to doing more in the future.

I recently ran into a Charlotte Local while downtown , who said he went by the name Franklin , now what made him different than most people ? Franklin is currently homeless and living on the streets of Charlotte trying to do his best to survive with the resources readily available . Now what is making this so hard ? The American government is actively *victimizing* homeless people and making it even more difficult to get by in a world none of us asked to be apart of . Franklin said he feels a big cause of his struggle with homelessness comes from the many bad decisions he made in his past, but arent we all human ? Dont we all make mistakes ? Why should some people suffer more than others just because of a mistake they made ? It is everyones first time being alive and maybe some consideration into giving people another chance would greatly benefit society as a whole. We are all equal and should learn to treat each other with more understanding and compassion . One positive person can help change the whole world .

North Carolina local Nathan Harris released his first EP "Moving On" and held a release party at Petras downtown Charlotte . If you ever get the chance you have got to go see them in action, Nathan specializes in groove rock, with influences from blues, folk, funk, and jazz.

One of my goals as a photographer is to one day join a band/artist on tour and be a traveling photographer. To do this I have been shooting local shows and building my concert portfolio, where I found that many artists will let you into their show for free in exchange for doing pictures for them, which has been amazing as it allows me to create art I love while also listening to music I love.

Jason (Spanky) Payne, is a repeated client of ours and takes advantage of our content creation services almost weekly, having us help make him flyers and grow his brand image online with social media.

One of our first business ventures into photography and videography, our client wanted some pictures taken and videos made/edited to post onto their social media. Working with them was amazing, as I got more experience taking pictures of active scenery, and they got the chance to showcase to the world the need for jobs like this.

As I progress and develop my photography skills further I have found that there are many software that help you elevate your skills beyond just what you capture inside your camera. One of these being Photoshop by Adobe. It contains many of the same tools found in Adobe's Lightroom, plus the option for something called layers which is what I used to make this picture of me where it appears there are 6 versions of me.

This was my second time shooting at the Visulite Theatre and as I get more into concert photography I noticed that I am learning more about certain settings in my camera that I had previously never touched. One of these being metering, and switching to spot metering to help with the uneven lighting commonly found in concert environments.

I got the chance to be on the other side of a lens for once and even though I was not the photographer in this instance, I was the editor of the pictures and I love how they turned out. APMedia offers editing services at half the price of our photography services . 

Getting the chance to shoot Cosmic Charlie for their 25th Anniversary was such a pleasure but I ended up missing a bunch of great shots because I got caught up dancing so much XD , I intend to pursue more concert like environments and hope to shoot some type of festival before the end of this year.

I got the chance to shoot some more photography at Untapped Territory and I loved how they all turned out, this was one of my first large events I got to shoot for and Im looking forward to many more.

On March 18th I attended a Cabarrus County Commissioners meeting held at the Cabarrus County Governmental center at 6:30, directly across from the Courthouse and Sheriffs office. Outside prior to the meeting, a group of family court activists got together to protest the corruption in the court systems, and the renewal of a corrupt attorney's contract with the county, because of his involvement with so many unlawfully conducted court cases involving children and their parents.

For the month of March , Untapped Territory in Lincolnton, NC had us design their weekly lineup based off that weeks events. I was very pleased with how each post turned out through all 4 weeks of the month and will be continuing these services for them until further notice.
