The Asia-Pacific Workshop on Mixed and Augmented Reality (APMAR 2026) invites submissions to its Interactivity Track, featuring Demonstrations (Demos) and Posters. This track provides a venue for researchers, designers, and practitioners to showcase interactive systems, prototypes, design concepts, and creative explorations in Mixed, Virtual, and Augmented Reality (MR/VR/AR). We particularly encourage submissions that emphasize hands-on experiences, novel interaction techniques, and real-world deployment scenarios.
Accepted submissions will be presented during dedicated interactive sessions at the Exhibition, allowing participants to engage directly with authors and experience the work in action.
Important Dates (AoE):
2026/6/24 Submission deadline
2026/6/30 Notification of acceptance
Demo submissions should present functional systems, prototypes, or technical implementations that can be experienced interactively during the workshop.
Submissions should clearly describe:
The system design and implementation
Interaction techniques and user experience
Current state of the system (working prototype preferred)
Potential applications and future development
We strongly encourage authors to include a demo video to help reviewers assess the system’s interactivity and completeness.
Presentations in the Interactivity track will not be formally published through the workshop.
Poster submissions are intended for early-stage research, design explorations, or conceptual work.
Submissions should clearly present:
Research motivation and problem space
Proposed idea, concept, or design approach
