Throughout these lessons of this course, you have gained insight on how to complete a literature review and the application of research in evidence-based practice. Then you critically reviewed your partner's literature review and provided feedback. The final step in this assignment is to carefully read and take into consideration the insight from your assigned partner and your instructor to enhance your work.
This step is crucial because it will demonstrate the ability to receive constructive criticism and assess feedback as well to apply it to your research. It is key to the success of each member of any team to have detailed input and feedback from their peers. A reminder that the objective of peer review is to allow another person, with a similar background to share his or her insight, expertise, experience, and creative viewpoints as it relates to your final product. Healthcare workers may all have specific skills and areas of expertise, yet as a community of like-minded professionals, we are stronger than any one individual.
Remembering the objectives and specifics of the original assignment, be sure to include those points throughout the final ROL. Incorporate the peer review comments, insight, and feedback also. All information gained and shared will aid and help with the final ROL as it relates to the healthcare research and evidence-based practice and your area of specialty as we all push forward into 21st century.
In phase three of your signature assignment, you will further define the topic of your review in your introduction, conduct a final literature review to provide supporting evidence to the importance of your research question. Then you will discuss the gaps in the literature, provide an overall conclusion to your research of literature and describe the significance of the research you are suggesting. Enhance your document by using the feedback provided by your peer and instructor in phase 1 and 2 of the signature assignment.
