Prof. Chandrashekar Yavagal is an internationally acclaimed clinician, speaker and PhD researcher on Lasers, Paediatric Dentistry and Paediatric Orthodontics. A University topper at BOS and Gold medalist MOS in Paediatric dentistry, he went on to complete his Diploma in Orthodontics from Orthodontic World Institute (OWi), Barcelona, Spain.
He is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, Associate Fellow of the World Clinical Laser Institute and Diplomate of the International College of Neuromuscular Orthodontics & Gnathology, Italy.
He is the only Indian Dentist to be invited as a Speaker and Chairperson by WALT (World Association for Laser Therapy) at Nice, France in October 2018. He currently serves as Post Graduate Professor & Head at MMNGH Institute of Dental Sciences, Belgaum, India, affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences of which he is a current Member of the Board of Studies.
He has more than 70 publications in National and International peer reviewed journals and has conducted more than 300 lectures, workshops and webinars on Lasers, Paediatric, Preventive and Restorative Dentistry in India, Singapore, Kuwait, France and Spain.
