The Atlanta Pinball League was started in 2012 on the shoulders of collectors, technicians, dedicated pinheads and community organizers. Prior to the APL, pinheads gathered for "pin swaps", group projects (restorations, shop/fix, clean) and meet-ups at home collections. The addition of the Georgia Pinball Appreciation Society (GAPAS.net) and the Southern Fried Gaming Expo have expanded Atlanta's pinball community into a regional powerhouse of pinball support and fun.
The APL is grateful to carry on for all prior members and to honor fallen legends like George Hay and Scott Kutheis.
