OverviewAPI Intercept is a developer tool for debugging API traffic in Chrome. It helps users inspect, rewrite, and breakpoint HTTP/HTTPS requests on tabs they choose.
Data we processWhen you turn Intercept on, the extension may process network data from that tab, such as URLs, headers, methods, status codes, and request/response bodies shown in the side panel. The extension also stores your settings locally: rules, breakpoints, intercept state, and a recent traffic log.
Where data is storedAll data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome’s local storage. We do not operate servers that receive your traffic or settings.
What we do not do• We do not sell your data.• We do not share your data with third parties.• We do not use your data for advertising.• We do not collect passwords, payment information, or unrelated personal data.
Your controlYou can turn Intercept off, clear the log, delete rules and breakpoints, or uninstall the extension at any time.
