Wave / Aphelion ("we", "us", "our") operates the mobile game Aphelion Gravity (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the App, how it is used, and the choices you have.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
The App is a single-player puzzle game. It does not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or precise location.
Your game progress (levels solved, hints unlocked, purchases) is stored locally on your device and is not collected by us.
The App uses third-party services for advertising (Google AdMob) and analytics (Google Firebase, Amplitude). These services automatically collect certain device and usage information, as described below.
The App offers a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple; we never receive your payment details.
We do not directly collect personal information that identifies you by name. However, the third-party services integrated into the App automatically collect certain information when you play:
Device & technical information
Device model, operating system version, language, and region
Mobile network / general device settings
Approximate location derived from your IP address (country/region level — not precise GPS)
Identifiers
Device identifiers, including the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) when you allow tracking (see "Your Choices" below)
Vendor/app-instance identifiers used for analytics
Usage & gameplay analytics
In-app events such as starting a session, starting or completing a level, viewing hints, watching ads, and completing purchases
Frequency and duration of use, and basic diagnostics/crash information
Advertising data
Ad interactions (impressions, completed rewarded ads) and data used to measure and attribute ad performance
Purchase information
Whether you own the "Unlock All Hints" in-app purchase. The purchase itself is processed by Apple; we do not collect or store your payment card or billing information.
Notifications (optional)
If you opt in to notifications, a push token is used to deliver messages. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
The information above is used to:
Operate, maintain, and improve the App and its gameplay
Display and measure advertising, including rewarded ("watch an ad") ads
Understand how players use the App through aggregate analytics
Process and restore in-app purchases
Deliver notifications you have opted in to
Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse
The App relies on the following third-party SDKs, which act as independent data controllers/processors for the data they collect. Please review their privacy policies:

These providers may transfer and process data in the United States and other countries.
App Tracking Transparency (ATT): On first run, iOS asks whether the App may track you across apps and websites. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track," the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) is not used to track you, and ads will be non-personalized. You can change this anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Ad consent (EEA/UK): Where required, you will be shown a consent prompt (via Google's User Messaging Platform) before personalized ads are served. You can withdraw or change consent as offered in-app.
Personalized ads: You can also limit ad personalization in Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
Analytics: Declining tracking and ad personalization also limits the data available to analytics providers.
We retain analytics and advertising data only as long as needed for the purposes described above, after which it is deleted or anonymized in accordance with our providers' retention practices. Game progress stored locally on your device remains until you delete the App or clear its data.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App is not part of the Apple "Kids" category. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent.
EEA/UK (GDPR): rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. The legal bases we rely on are consent (for personalized advertising) and legitimate interests (for basic analytics and operating the App).
California (CCPA/CPRA): the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can exercise the advertising opt-out using the ATT and ad-personalization controls described above.

We rely on industry-standard protections, including encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) transmission of data, and on the security practices of our third-party providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted at this URL, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
