Proceed through the city of College Park
Research Volunteers park in a gated parking lot next to Lefrak Hall called Lot A. When you schedule an appointment with us, we will send you a parking tag and the keypad code to enter Lot A. Please park in the reserved spaced marked Speech and Hearing Clients only. If you reach Lot A and do not have the keypad code, please call the Hearing and Speech Clinic at 301-405-2418 or the Aphasia Research Center at 301-405-2477. If you have handicap tags, please use the designated handicap parking spaces if available.
Directions to Lot A once you are on UMD Campus
If you are on Route 1:
Pass all entrances to the University of Maryland.
Turn right at Knox Road .
At the end of Knox Road make another right.
Go one block to stop sign, make a right.
Go past the parking garage and follow the road uphill.
Make a sharp right ward U-turn into the gated parking lot A.
If you are on Adelphi:
Turn onto Campus Drive.
Drive halfway around the traffic circle continuing on Campus Drive.
Turn right at the end (Prienkert Drive).
The gated parking Lot A will be on your left when Prienkert drive forks into two.
Getting to the Aphasia Research Center in Lefrak Hall after you have parked in Lot A
When you park in Lot A, you will be facing Lefrak Hall.
Enter Lefrak on the left on the basement level (do not go up the stairs next to parking lot A).
Go through the double doors and make the first right.
The Aphasia Research Center (Room 0133) is the first door on your right, across from the lockers.
