- Anything to do with my fascinations and areas of expertise like cats, vintage comic books, science fiction, 20th century history especially its artistic and intellectual history (Buckley vs. Vidal culture wars and all that), pop music in its many forms especially 70s soft or "Yacht Rock" and Brill Building era, "grown up" literature like Bellow, Didion and Tom Wolfe, homesteading and living off-grid or in vanlife or RV rigs as inspired by CheapRVLiving or The Complete Tightwad Gazette and David Nash's series of prepper projects books. Healthcare and wellness related are also great topics, because another of my gigs is that I am a Certified Nursing Assistant and Certified Caregiver, recognized as in good standing by the Arizona Department of Nursing and the Department of Public Safety (which issues the Fingerprint Clearance Card). Also, I have military clearance to visit Fort Huachuca Army Base in Sierra Vista, Arizona in order to serve the veterans whose sacrifices and courage have ensured for us the freedoms and opportunities we continue to enjoy and should never take for granted in this great nation.
