The Agogo Presbyterian Training College Kindergarten and Primary School was established on the 6th of October 1976, upon the request of the Agogo Presbyterian Hospital for Kindergarten school for the children of the Hospital and other workers in the town and serve as a Demonstration School for the Agogo Presbyterian Teacher Training College.
The school was initially managed by the then Principal of the Agogo Presbyterian Training College, Miss Vida Anno-Kwakye who was the brain behind the opening of the school and the Vice Principal, Mrs. Alice Adarkwa Dadzie who managed the day to day activities of the school.
The school is located at in the middle of Agogo Township and shares common boundaries with the following institutions and reference landmarks. The school shares boundary with the Agogo Presbyterian Hospital in the East, at the West is Agogo Presbyterian Training College of Education and North/East are SDA, Fountain of Lie and Pentecost churches.
The school has scored 100% passes in the BECE results for the past 9 years. Pupils from the school gain admission gain admission into the best SHS's in the country.
