Topic：Effectiveness of Laser Assisted Drug Delivery for Massive Keloid Scar ;
one case report from an 11 years old boy
Laser assisted drug delivery is one of the drug delivery technique that is used to improve the efficacy of local skin treatment. Ablative Fractional Laser is widely used for this purpose. Nowadays, LADD has shown to be effective for the treatment of actinic keratosis, cutaneous SCC in situ, actinic cheilitis, hypertrophic scars, and keloids. An-11 years old boy was referred to our hospital with massive keloid scar due to hot water splash, this boy refused corticosteroid intralesional injection since he was injected many times already by his hometown dermatologist without any improvement. We decided to do LADD with triamcinolone acetonide once a month, and we can see the improvement after 1 year
