Topic:Hemangioma Laser Treatment Case Report: A Revolutionary Treatment Option
Hemangiomas are benign, vascular tumors that appear as solitary or multiple flat or raised reddish-blue lesions on the oral mucosa and skin, potentially leading to disfigurement or becoming life-threatening. Hemangiomas are currently treated with a wide range of techniques, including electrocauterization, cryosurgery, sclerosing agents, and surgery; nevertheless, these methods are uncomfortable and can result in abnormalities after the procedure. This study will explore the use of ND-Yag laser therapy to treat five cases of oral hemangiomas. Dental laser procedures are seen to be promising treatment alternatives because to their minimally invasive nature, lack of bleeding, and minimum discomfort. In contrast to all other surgical treatments, the outcome of the treatment was a clinical appearance that was almost normal, no pain or swelling, a faster healing period, and no scarring.
