Criteria: The concept of identity is tied to how we perceive ourselves and to what others see when they look at us. In this assignment, you will have a chance to deconstruct/reconstruct and re-frame images of yourselves or another person (as literal portraits or abstract images) with a subject matter or text of your choosing. The goal is to redefine how you represent yourself or another person visually by giving additional framing and context to reshape your images' meaning. Be intentional in how your design communicates your overall concept.  How you visually represent your subject matter and how you define "portrait" is up to you.  Choose one of the prompts below to help in the framing of your book concept.
