Harnessing the power of spoken word poetry and mural art to amplify the impact and resonance of advocacy messages and dialogue
❤️🩹 Colour Me Mad
As part of our poetry for development initiatives, we partnered with Tamara Dogubo and Kolawole “Pariolodo” on the spoken word theatre presentation, - "Colour Me Mad".
Colour Me Mad: The Ego and Femi Story is a poignant spoken word poetry production that delves into the turbulent lives of Ego and Femi, a couple ensnared in a cycle of conflict and domestic violence. Through expressive poetry, music, and drama, the production sheds light on the complexities of relationships, the destructive nature of ego, and the harrowing consequences of abuse. It aims to provoke thought, spark dialogue, and empower its audience to confront issues of toxic relationships and domestic violence.
