Aozora Camera is an iPhone camera app designed for field work, construction equipment repair, vehicle maintenance, inspection recording, item listing photos, and work video recording.
The app is designed to be simple and practical for real work situations, such as dark areas, vehicle undersides, engine rooms, machine inspection, auction listing photos, and YouTube work videos.

Forced Light
Aozora Camera is useful when you need to record in dark places.
The light can be forced ON while taking photos or recording video.
This is useful for:
・Vehicle underside inspection

How to Use Magnifier Camera
Magnifier Camera is a close-up shooting feature for checking small details, labels, part numbers, nameplates, and small text.
How to use:
1. Tap the “Close 1x” or Magnifier button on the camera screen.
2. The app switches to close-up shooting mode.
3. Use the zoom slider to adjust magnification.
4. Turn the light ON if needed.
5. Tap the photo button to take a photo.
6. Tap the record button to record close-up video.
When the subject is dark, using the light is recommended.
At higher magnification, camera shake may be more noticeable, so hold the iPhone as steady as possible.
This feature is intended for work records, inspection, repair, part checking, and checking small text.
It is not intended for medical diagnosis or treatment.
Voice Control
Voice control can be turned ON or OFF in Settings.
Voice commands are useful when your hands are dirty, you are wearing gloves, or it is difficult to touch the screen.
Japanese and English voice command languages can be selected in Settings.
English voice commands include:

Very short commands such as “Stop”, “Start”, “On”, and “Off” are not used to reduce accidental operation.
Portrait and Landscape Review
Aozora Camera can show photos and videos in portrait or landscape review mode inside the app.
Even when iPhone rotation lock is enabled, you can switch the review screen inside the app.
This is useful when checking horizontal videos without changing the iPhone system rotation setting.
Long Recording ECO Mode
Long Recording ECO Mode dims the screen after the selected time during recording.
Recording continues even when the screen is dimmed.
You can wake the screen by tapping it or using voice control.
Available dim times:
・10 seconds
・30 seconds
・1 minute
・3 minutes
・5 minutes
This mode is useful for reducing heat and battery use during long recordings.
Video Quality
Video quality can be selected in Settings.
・Highest
・High
・Standard
・Small Size
Guide:
Highest:
Uses 4K recording on supported devices. File size will be larger.
High:
Uses 1080p as a high-quality recording option.
Standard:
Uses 720p as a balanced option.
Small Size:
Uses 640×480 as a small-size option for long recordings.
Recording Stability
To keep recording stable, some camera switching operations are restricted during video recording.
During recording, the app may show messages such as:
・Cannot switch macro while recording
・Cannot switch camera while recording
・Cannot switch lens while recording
This is to help prevent recording interruption or the torch light turning off.
AozoraCamera Album
Photos and videos captured with Aozora Camera are saved to the Photos app.
The app also saves captured items to the AozoraCamera album in the Photos app.
Depending on Photos permission settings, saving or displaying items may take some time.
Location Information
If location permission is allowed, location information can be saved with captured photos and videos.
If location permission is not allowed, photo and video capture can still be used.
In that case, location information will not be saved.
Watch Mode
Watch Mode is currently shown as Coming Soon.
This feature is planned for future updates.
It may be used to notify the user when motion or changes are detected on screen.
Troubleshooting
Photos or videos are not saved
Please check:
・Open the iPhone Settings app
・Select Aozora Camera
・Allow access to Photos
・Allow camera access
Voice control does not work
Please check:
・Voice Control is ON in Aozora Camera Settings
・Microphone permission is allowed
・Speech Recognition permission is allowed
・After a phone call, Siri, or another audio app, return to Aozora Camera and wait a moment
The light does not turn on
Please check:
・The light may not be available when using the front camera
・The iPhone may limit the torch if the device is too hot
・Close other apps that may be using the camera
・Try again after the device cools down
The screen becomes dark during recording
Long Recording ECO Mode may be ON.
You can turn ECO Mode OFF or change the dim time in Settings.
