Research Interests
My research group, which includes graduate students as well as collaborators in the USA, Canada, France, Italy, Brazil, China, Turkey, Morocco, Algeria, and other countries worldwide, employs mathematics, engineering, materials science, control theory, model reduction, and algorithmic development to better understand controlled physical phenomena. Our focus spans systems ranging from purely elastic structures to smart-material models, including transmission systems governed by PDEs and ODEs. The problems we address have applications in MEMS, space robotics, energy harvesting, and other structurally embedded smart-material systems used in industry.Research Interests
