Research Interests

My research group, comprising several graduate and undergraduate students, along with my collaborators in France, Italy, Brazil, China, Algeria, Canada, and other countries worldwide, employs mathematics, engineering, material science, control theory, model reductions, and algorithmic development to better understand controlled physical phenomena. Our focus spans from purely elastic to smart material systems. The problems we address have applications in MEMS, space robotics, energy harvesters, and other structurally-embedded smart material systems used in industry.
