Research Interests
My research centers in a mix of Algebraic Geometry, Differential Geometry and Algebraic Topology and their relationships with the equations of Mathematical Physics. More precisely, I am interested in the study of the geometry and topology of moduli spaces of (mainly Higgs-) bundles over curves.
I'm currently working on several projects. Here are some of them:
The geometry of mirror symmetry which arises via the Hitchin system on the moduli spaces of Higgs bundles, and on the identification and study of the duality of branes on this hyperkahler setting.
The relation of Higgs bundles moduli spaces for real Lie groups and higher Teichmüller spaces, namely on the study of the existence of higher Teichmüller components on these moduli spaces, for certain classes of Lie groups.
The study of the motivic classes of the moduli spaces of holomorphic Lie algebroid connections, and their relation with the moduli spaces of twisted Higgs bundles.
