News and recent activities

The first version of the "Spintronics' Day" conference, co-organized by the Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana (UTEM, Chair Ale) and the Universidad de la Frontera (UFRO, Chair Nico Vidal) ends after many fruitful discussions and national and international talks.

Dr. Adam Badra Cahaya, from the Universitas Indonesia, visited us in January 2024 to continue and strengthened our Spintronics collaboration.

We thank Prof. Jun'ichi Ieda and Dr. Yasufumi Araki for their kind invitation to visit the Spin-Energy Science group, at the Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA), Tokai, Japan. Many interesting discussions with this fantastic team!

Our Fondecyt grant, ID 11230120,
"Magnon spin and heat transport in complex ferrimagnetic insulators" started in 2023!
