I was born on the 9th May 1982 in Galway, Ireland. I am a taurus. As a child I attended the garvey school of speech and drama and studied to grade 8. I won my first competition, a community games art competition aged 7 and displayed my artwork to the bishop of Galway. As a teenager I dressed up as a clown for charity and this was photographed in the local paper.
When I turned 15 I won a poetry competition called " care life." This was published in the local paper at the time and it can be seen in the digital archives for the west of Ireland. After school I attended Athlone IT but didn't graduate till 2014 as I took a 10 year break and returned to complete my exams. I have a higher cert in applied social studies in social care.
During this break I appeared in a short film called " Eva le Napoli" as a credited extra. I also appeared in a music video by the Coronas called " wont leave you alone tonight" as a person wearing a cat mask. At present it has over 390,000 views on you tube ( July 2023).
In 2013 I took a Gold standard Wais IV IQ test under test conditions in front of a psychologist ( ie timed) and although my IQ is average, I scored 86% for verbal comprehension which makes me above average in the english domain.
I sat the MSAP for NUIG in 2019 and scored 101 which is standard for arts. However I did score 58% for written english out of all the candidates nationwide who sat the test that year.
I was accepted into the journalism programme as the only mature student in the class.
In the summer of 2020 I appeared on the irish tv show Ros na Run as a member of a jury during the trial of character Andy Neachtain. I was on four episodes and the links are on this website.
In October 2020 my first science fiction book " Luminess the island of the moon" was published on amazon.
I appeared on the Ian Dempsey breakfast show ( Today FM) on 6th November 2020 as a "kickstarter" and was described as " competition coming up the tracks"
I was approached by talent scouts from HBO during my time in Dublin while on a night out. They discussed the O1 visa with me but at the time due to my lack of media exposure they couldnt sponsor me but said they would approach me again if I was in the media or on a tv show.
I have been lucky enough to meet some very famous people from the world of acting including Eugene Levy and Seann William Scott. I am also starting to freelance for local newspapers and always on the hunt for magazine work. I won the " craol" silver presenter award (nationally) for my role in co-presenting trivia matters on flirt fm, Fridays 2-3, in 2018. Also in 2018 I was the co-winner of a flirt fm award for best magazine show.
In 2020 I was the runner up in Ireland in the EU Sakharov student journalist competition. I was also in the top ten finalists nationally in 2020 for the " Shine speaking words competition." There is a book due to be released in 2022 by Shine with my name and story published alongside other successful stories. In July 2021 I appeared in a music video by Irish Soprano Emer Barry called " Gratitude."
Up to recently I wrote short stories for woman's way. I sometimes do work for movie extras.ie and I hope to model in the future as a commercial model. I completed a 3 month internship as an editor for a German company.
On the 3rd February 2022 I appeared in episode 5, season 4 of the RTE show " How to be good with money" , in the money box, asking a question about pensions, which was the theme of the show !
My book "Luminess the island of the moon" won " distinguished favourite for science fiction" at the Independant press awards in New York in March 2022 and I received a medal and certificate.
In July 2022 I was successful in a competition to be part of a panel to work in the RTE newsroom as a runner for news and current affairs.
Currently my book " Daydreams of a writer" is being distributed to different publishing networks and different countries worldwide. It also appears it will soon be available in libraries. I also released two children's picture books: " Cyril the Squirrel" and " Thumble thistle the bee"
My audio book for daydreams of a writer was published at the end of summer 2023 on Spotify, apple and audibible etc. In January 2026 I found I had been awarded an Independent Press Award for this - distinguished favourite!!
I graduated university in August 2023 with a degree in English and Journalism.
I also have almost 18,000 twitter followers and 1,2OO + Facebook followers.
I am classed as E11 ( Extraordinary ability as an artist) due to my achievements in the arts and there fore I would qualify for a US green card.
In april 2024 I sat the woodcock johnson 4 assessment * included were english battery tests for extra assesment* with an educational psychologist and discovered that I am superior or gifted in the English domain. I rank in the top 8% of the population in this domain.
My first poetry book " the celestial collection" was published in December 2024 and is due to be turned into a audio book in 2026.
In Febuary 2026, I will be published in the exclusive book " 100 artists of Europe" by an italian publication called culture lab. I was selected from thousands all over europe to be part of this book, representing Ireland as an award winning writer.
Media and press stories are planned for March 2026 in relation to this and hopefully a wilkipedia page will follow.
I plan to do a masters in writing in Sept 2026. I am currently finishing the next science fiction book and hope to enter it into more awards next year.
I was featured in the irish independent galway section about my participation in 100 artists of Europe and also featured in " the table read" magazine in the UK. At present other projects are in progress.
