Aohan Li (Assistant Professor, PI)
Aohan Li [S'17, M'20, SM'25] is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo, Japan. She is also a Visiting Scholar at the University of Houston, Texas, USA, and the Tokyo University of Science, Tokyo, Japan, where she was an Assistant Professor from 2020 to 2022. She received her Ph.D. degree from Keio University, Yokohama, Japan, in 2020. Her current research interests include resource management, quantum annealing, machine learning, and the Internet of Things. She has published over 90 peer-reviewed journal and international conference papers. She was the recipient of the 9th International Conference on Communications and Networking in China 2014 (CHINACOM'14) Best Paper Award, the 3rd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Information and Communication (ICAIIC'21) Excellent Paper Award, and the Telecom System Technology Student Excellent Paper Award of the Telecommunications Advancement Foundation, Japan in 2021.

Ryotai Ariyoshi (M2)
Ryotai Ariyoshi received his B.E. degree from Aohan Li's Lab. at the University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo, Japan, in 2024, where he is currently pursuing the master’s degree. His research interests include massive IoT systems, LoRa, reinforcement learning, energy efficiency, transmission parameter selection, and embedded systems.

Maho Hirahara (M1)
Maho Hirahara received her B.E. degree from Tokai University, Tokyo, Japan, in 2025. She is currently pursuing the master’s degree in Aohan Li's Lab at the University of Electro-Communications. Her research interests include IoT, Resource Allocation, and Quantum Annealing.

Xinyang Wang was a Research Student in Aohan Li's Lab from October 2024 to September 2025. He received his B.E. degree from Huaqiao University, Xiamen, China, in 2024. After leaving Aohan Li's Lab, he joined the Master's program at Kyushu University, Kyushu, Japan.
Xingchen Lu
Xingchen Lu was a Research Student in Aohan Li's Lab from October 2022 to March 2024. He received his B.E. degree from Suzhou University of Science and Technology, Suzhou, China, in 2020. His research interests include E-health and Federated Learning. After leaving Aohan Li's Lab, he joined the Master's program at the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Ishikawa, Japan.
