Aohan Li  (Assistant Professor, PhD Supervisor, PI)

Aohan Li [S'17, M'20, SM'25] is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo, Japan. She is also a Visiting Scholar at the Tokyo University of Science, Tokyo, Japan, where she was an Assistant Professor from 2020 to 2022. From Aug. 2025 to Mar. 2026, she was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Houston, Texas, USA. She received her Ph.D. degree from Keio University, Yokohama, Japan, in 2020. Her current research interests include resource management, quantum annealing, machine learning, and the Internet of Things. She has published over 100 peer-reviewed journal and international conference papers. She was the recipient of the 9th International Conference on Communications and Networking in China 2014 (IEEE CHINACOM'14) Best Paper Award, the 3rd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Information and Communication (IEEE ICAIIC'21) Excellent Paper Award, the Telecom System Technology Student Excellent Paper Award of the Telecommunications Advancement Foundation, Japan in 2021, and the 8th Conference on Cloud and Internet of Things (IEEE CIoT'25) Best Demo Paper Award.

Miyu Tsuzuki (M2)

Miyu Tsuzuki received her B.E. degree from Aohan Li's Lab. at the University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo, Japan, in 2025, where she is currently pursuing a master’s degree. Her research interests include IoT, LoRa, Deep Reinforcement Learning, Transmission Parameter Selection, and Embedded Systems. She will join NTT R&D (NTT株式会社).

Maho Hirahara (M2)

Maho Hirahara received her B.E. degree from Tokai University, Tokyo, Japan, in 2025. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Aohan Li's Lab at the University of Electro-Communications. Her research interests include IoT and Quantum Annealing. She will join NEC Communication Systems Ltd. (日本電気通信システム株式会社).

Yuya Saito (B4)

Yuya Saito is currently pursuing the bachelor's degree in Aohan Li's Lab at the University of Electro-Communications. His research interests include IoT and Biomedical signal processing.
