Job Overview

Art of Engineering is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Engineer / Site Supervisor to join our growing team. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on our residential and commercial construction sites, ensuring that work is executed according to engineering drawings, safety standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day activities on-site for residential (G+2/Duplex) and commercial (Interior/Clinic) projects.

• Drawing Interpretation: Read and implement 2D architectural drawings and 3D structural designs accurately.

• Labor Management: Coordinate with contractors, masons, plumbers, and electricians to ensure smooth workflow and productivity.

• Quality Control: Ensure all materials used and work performed meet the company’s high-quality standards and technical specifications.

• Measurement & Reporting: Maintain daily site logs, track material consumption, and prepare weekly progress reports for management.

• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict on-site safety protocols for all workers and visitors.

Qualifications & Skills

• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of AutoCAD; ability to interpret structural and interior fit-out drawings.

• Communication: Fluent in Odia and Hindi (for labor management) and functional English (for reporting).

• Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills, punctuality, and the ability to handle on-site pressure.

• Mobility: Must have a two-wheeler for commuting between different project sites in Rourkela.
