Anywear: Live Virtual Try-On
Last updated: September 30, 2026
sujal vaghani built the Anywear: Live Virtual Try-On app ("Anywear", the "App") as a commercial app. This Service is provided by sujal vaghani and is intended for use as is.
This page explains how Anywear collects, uses, shares and deletes information when you use the App. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described here.
Summary
• Anywear shows you wearing clothes in real time using your camera and an AI model. • During a try-on session, your live camera video and the garment image you choose are sent to Decart, a third-party AI service, to create the try-on. The App asks your permission before this ever happens. • Anywear does not store your camera video, your garment images or your try-on videos on our servers. • Decart may keep this data and use it to improve its AI models, under its own terms. • Signing in is optional and is only needed to buy try-on packs. • We do not sell your personal information, show ads, or track you across other apps.
• We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is used, with no advertising features. You can turn it off in Settings.
Information We Collect
a) Camera video (collected only during a try-on session) Live video from your device's camera, which may show your face and body. See Section 3.
b) Garment images and links The clothing photo you pick from your photo library, or the product link you paste. When you paste a link, the App downloads the product image from that website directly to your device.
c) Account information (only if you choose to sign in) • Sign in with Apple: a unique account identifier and your email address (or Apple's private relay email address). • Sign in with Google: a unique account identifier, your email address, and your name and profile picture as provided by Google.
d) Purchases and try-on balances • Your subscription plan and purchases (processed by Apple; we never receive your payment details). • Your remaining try-ons: plan try-ons and pack try-ons. • Records of try-on sessions: date and time, session length, whether fast mode was used, and how many try-ons were used.
e) Device and app identifiers • A random device identifier, stored on your device, used only to give each device one free try-on. • An anonymous app identifier created by RevenueCat, used to link purchases to your device. • App integrity tokens from Apple App Attest (through Firebase App Check), used to confirm requests come from the genuine App.
f) Diagnostic information Technical information such as device model, operating system version, error details and connection quality. See Section 9.
g) Usage analytics (you can turn this off)
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how people use the App, so we can improve it. It records app activity such as screens opened, buttons tapped (for example, starting a try-on, choosing a plan or saving a video), how long sessions last, whether steps succeed or fail, session length and fast-mode choices, your plan type and whether you are signed in. It also records the website domain of a shop link you paste (for example "zara.com"), but not the full link. Google Analytics assigns a random app-instance identifier and collects general information such as device model, operating system, app version, language and approximate country or region (derived from your IP address, which Google does not store).
Analytics never includes your camera video, garment images, your name, email address, or account identifier. We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), advertising personalisation, or ad-network attribution, and analytics data is not linked to your identity or used for tracking.
You can turn analytics off at any time in Settings → Privacy & data → Share usage analytics.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, microphone audio, advertising identifier, or browsing history.
Camera Video and Face Data
What is collected While a try-on session is running, the App captures live video from your camera. This video may include your face and body. The App also uses the garment image you choose.
How it is used Your camera video and garment image are used only to create the live virtual try-on you see on screen: the AI places the chosen garment onto you in the video.
Who it is shared with To create the try-on, your camera video and garment image are streamed securely to Decart (Decart.ai, Inc., decart.ai), a third-party AI service that runs the try-on model and returns the result to your device. Video is streamed only while a session is running. Streaming stops when the session ends, when you turn off the camera, or when you leave the App.
Decart processes this data under its own Privacy Policy and API Terms (https://docs.platform.decart.ai/resources/privacy-policy). Under those terms, Decart may retain the video, images and generated results, may use them to train and improve its AI models, and may process them outside your country. Decart's policy does not state a fixed retention period. You can ask Decart to access or delete data about you by emailing contact@decart.ai.
Your permission Before the App uses your camera or sends any video, it explains what is sent and to whom, and asks you to agree. The system will then ask for camera access. You can withdraw your consent at any time in Settings → Privacy & data → Withdraw consent; the App will then stop using your camera and sending video until you agree again.
Storage and retention by Anywear Anywear does not store your camera video, garment images or try-on videos on its servers. While a session runs, the App records the try-on video to a temporary file on your device so you can save it afterwards. If you choose "Save", the video is saved to your Photos library on your device; otherwise the temporary file is deleted. Videos you save stay on your device and are never uploaded by us.
On-device framing guide Before a session, the App uses Apple's on-device Vision framework to find the position of your head and shoulders in the camera view, so it can guide you into the frame. This happens entirely on your device. These positions are not stored, not sent anywhere, and not used to identify you.
No facial recognition Anywear does not use facial recognition, face identification, biometric identification, biometric categorisation or emotion recognition. We do not use Face ID or TrueDepth face data.
No other sharing Your camera video and images are never sold, rented, or shared for advertising, and are not shared with anyone other than Decart for the purpose of creating your try-on.
How We Use Information
• To provide live virtual try-ons (Section 3). • To manage your account if you sign in. • To process purchases, grant and track try-ons, and charge try-ons for sessions accurately. • To give each device one free try-on and prevent misuse of free or paid try-ons. • To keep the App secure and working, and to fix errors.• To understand how the App is used and improve it (usage analytics, which you can turn off). • To respond to your messages.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Third-Party Services
Anywear relies on the following services. Each handles data under its own privacy policy:
• Decart (Decart.ai, Inc.) — AI processing of your live camera video and garment image during a try-on session. https://docs.platform.decart.ai/resources/privacy-policy • • Firebase (Google) — sign-in (Firebase Authentication), app integrity checks (App Check), secure storage of try-on balances and session records (Cloud Firestore), server functions, and usage analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase). https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy • RevenueCat — management of subscriptions, purchases and plan try-on balances. https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy • Apple — Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases and subscriptions, and App Attest. https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/ • Google — Sign in with Google. https://policies.google.com/privacy
We share data with these services only as needed to provide the App. Each of them is bound by its own privacy policy and terms to protect user data with the same or equal protection as described in this Privacy Policy. They use the data only to provide their services to Anywear, except that Decart may also use data to improve its models as described in Section 3.
Sign In with Apple and Google
Signing in is optional. You can use the App, including your free try-on and subscriptions, without an account. Sign-in is required only to buy try-on packs, so that pack try-ons are kept with your account and stay available if you reinstall the App or use another device. We use your sign-in information only to identify your account.
Purchases, Plans and Try-Ons
• Subscriptions and try-on packs are purchased through Apple's App Store. Apple processes your payment; we never receive your card or payment details. • Plan try-ons are linked to your App Store subscription on your device and are managed by RevenueCat. • Pack try-ons are linked to your signed-in account and stored in our secure database (Firebase). • Session records are kept so try-ons are charged correctly and to prevent misuse.
Data Retention
• Camera video, garment images and try-on videos: not stored by Anywear (Decart's retention: see Section 3). • Account information, pack try-on balance and session records linked to your account: kept until you delete your account. • Session records not linked to an account, the free try-on device identifier, and purchase transaction references: kept as long as needed to charge try-ons correctly and prevent repeated free try-ons or duplicate credits. They are not linked to your name or email. • Purchase and subscription records held by Apple and RevenueCat: kept under their policies (for example, for tax and accounting). • Server logs: kept for up to 30 days.
• Usage analytics: kept by Google Analytics for up to 14 months, then deleted automatically.
Log Data
When you use the App, it keeps a diagnostic log on your device (for example, connection quality and error messages). This log stays on your device and is not uploaded automatically. Our servers record basic technical information about requests, such as the time, your IP address, an anonymous app identifier and error details. We use this only to run and secure the Service, never for tracking or advertising, and keep it for up to 30 days.
Data Deletion
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account. When you delete your account: • your sign-in account is permanently deleted; • your pack try-on balance is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered; • your session records linked to your account are permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone.
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Your subscription is managed by Apple: cancel it in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. While it remains active, your plan try-ons remain available on your device.
You can also delete the App from your device at any time, which removes the videos and settings stored within the App (videos you saved to Photos remain in Photos). To request deletion of data held by Decart, email contact@decart.ai.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, contact me at the email below. You may also contact your local data protection authority.
We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
International Transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States, the European Union and India. Where required, they use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Security
We use secure (encrypted) connections, access controls and app integrity checks to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and to keep what we store to a minimum.
Children's Privacy
Anywear is not intended for anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 18, use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. If I learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information, I will delete it.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will change. If a change affects how your camera video is used or shared, the App will ask for your consent again.
