This is my page for approved tracks on Soundplate and Daily Playlist and for you to make the most of your time on my playlist, I encourage you to read this page.
Firstly, well done on your track. I liked it enough to help get you some streams. My aim is to be one of the best curators in the business but you got to help me to help you. There is no I in team.
How long can you expect to be on my Spotify Playlists?
A calendar month s is minimum on all playlists and this is guaranteed.
After that will depend on many factors, so please read on.
You must listen to the playlist if you want to get the algorithm working, generate radio plays etc.
Getting on any curator's playlist and then not listening to their playlist is a total waste of time. What is the point of even submitting to us if you don't want to listen to our playlists?
How do I remove tracks?
Before I remove a track, I click on the artist's profile first and look to see if my playlist is on their 'Artist Playlists' or 'Discovered On' as this shows engagement. If I see my playlist on either, I tend to allow you to stay on for a few more weeks. You can easily find tracks on my playlists for several months because I see my playlist on their artist profiles. The evidence is there if you look. I also do the 'One-Year Guaranteed Placement' if you are on eligible playlists. Please see that page of my website to see if your track qualifies.
Therefore, to further improve your chances of getting streams, please listen frequently. Click on your track, wait 30 seconds to get your stream, and then let the shuffle work its magic.
Example:
This artist followed my advice and added my playlist 'Welcome To My House' to their Artist Playlists section so they will stay on the playlist for a YEAR.
They also engaged with the playlist, and it pushed the playlist higher up in the 'Discovered on' order. This should draw more listeners in further boosting streams. I also believe it helps to find the playlist in the search option, although do not quote me on that.
Please share with your social network:
The MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THAT YOU LISTEN TO THE PLAYLIST, but SHARING the playlist is also very important. At the top you saw my social media icons which take you where you want to go. Please share the Spotify playlist and tag my handle, which is below. It's really important to let others see the playlist you are on.

After a while
All good things come to an end and I will remove your track. It could well be that I like your song so much that I will be listening for many years to come. The best tracks go on my 'Recycling Bin' playlist. I believe this is the best playlist on Spotify if you like relaxing music. The music here is superb.

Some other little tips to help you:
TIP 1: Don't think a playlist with more followers is better than one with fewer followers. A lot of fellow curators are only interested in their own follower numbers. I'm looking for engaged listeners who like the music I add. My playlists are excellent.
TIP 2: Playlist engagement is more important than follower numbers. If I add you to the playlist, listen as much as you can. You will see benefits is everyone does this. Being added to my playlist and then not listening to a playlist is pointless and a waste of everybody's time.
TIP 3: A lot of curators will take you off after a month, and it is pointless being on it in the first place in my experience. You need to find playlists where you can expect a few months at least of streams.
TIP 4: Look at a playlist before submitting to it. You can sort of guess if you are wasting your time with it.
TIP 5: Look at my playlists, and you should see the opposite of tips 2-4 and that I am trying to help. 🥰
Tip 6: Important - You probably won't like every song on a curator's playlist, so click the three dots and select the 'Hide this song' option, which is on the mobile version. Then just keep listening to the tracks on my playlist you do tolerate, and you will have great playlists.
