AnyPrinter - App Support

AnyPrinter enables direct printing from iPhone and iPad to compatible network printers using standard raw socket communication (Port 9100) with Printer Job Language (PJL).

Unlike AirPrint-based apps, AnyPrinter communicates directly with printers over the local network, making it ideal for many office, enterprise, and older business printers that do not support AirPrint or cloud printing.

Requirements

To use AnyPrinter successfully:

• Your iPhone/iPad and printer must be on the same Wi-Fi network

• The printer must support direct network printing over TCP Port 9100

• The printer must accept PJL commands

• Network access to the printer must not be blocked by firewall rules

No internet connection is required for printing.

Home Printers

Many consumer inkjet printers may NOT support direct Port 9100 printing. Examples of commonly unsupported or limited devices:

• Entry-level home inkjet printers

• Models designed only for AirPrint or manufacturer apps

• USB-only printers without network capability

• Some Wi-Fi printers with proprietary protocols only

How to Check Printer Compatibility

Your printer is likely compatible if:

✔ It has a static IP address on your network
✔ It is listed as a “network printer”
✔ Port 9100 (RAW printing) is enabled
✔ PJL or PCL/PS languages are supported
✔ It is used in an office environment

Manual IP Connection

If automatic discovery fails, you can connect manually:

1. Open AnyPrinter

2. Choose manual IP entry

3. Enter the printer’s IP address

4. Confirm connection
