- information concerning AnyNC licenses, support requests or business inquiries
If your inquiry relates to a contract, a software license or steps taken before entering into a contract, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
For general inquiries, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the efficient processing and answering of inquiries.
Email data will be retained only for as long as necessary to process the inquiry, unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate business reasons require longer retention.
6. Customer and Contract Data
If you purchase or request an AnyNC software license, I may process personal data that is necessary to prepare, conclude and perform the contract.
This may include:
- first and last name
- billing address
- email address
- company name, if applicable
- order information
- purchased license type
- license period
- invoice information
- payment status
- customer correspondence
- information necessary for providing and managing the software license
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Data that must be retained due to statutory tax, accounting or commercial-law obligations is stored for the legally required retention period.
The legal basis for such retention is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
7. Software Licensing and Activation
For the provision, activation, validation and administration of AnyNC software licenses, data necessary for managing the respective license may be processed.
Depending on the licensing method used, this may include:
- license key
- customer or user identifier
- license status
- software version
- activation date
- expiration date
- device-related or installation-related identifier, where technically necessary
- technical information required to verify the validity of a license
Such data is processed only to the extent necessary to provide, secure and administer the AnyNC license.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as the processing is necessary to perform the software license agreement.
Where processing is necessary to prevent misuse, unauthorized duplication or manipulation of software licenses, processing may additionally be based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The legitimate interest is the protection of the software, licensing system and contractual usage rights.
8. Invoices and Accounting
If you purchase an AnyNC license or other service, information required for invoicing and accounting will be processed.
This may include:
- name
- address
- company information
- invoice number
- purchased product or service
- invoice amount
- payment information
- date of purchase
Accounting and tax-related documents are retained for the periods required under German law.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
9. Payments
If payment is made by bank transfer, payment-related information transmitted by the relevant banks may be processed in order to identify and assign the payment.
This may include:
- account holder name
- IBAN or partial payment account information
- payment amount
- date of payment
- payment reference
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Banks and financial institutions involved in the transaction process personal data under their own legal responsibilities and privacy policies.
If additional payment providers such as PayPal, Stripe or other online payment services are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
10. Software Downloads
If AnyNC software or related files are made available for download through this website or a linked service, technical information may be processed by the respective hosting or download provider when the file is accessed.
This may include IP address, time of access, device and browser information.
The processing is necessary to technically provide the requested download.
Where processing is carried out directly by me, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the download relates to a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The legitimate interest is the reliable and secure distribution of AnyNC software.
11. Disclosure of Personal Data
Personal data will not be sold to third parties.
Personal data may be disclosed only where necessary, for example to:
- website and IT service providers
- hosting providers
- email providers
- banks and payment service providers
- tax advisers or accounting service providers
- public authorities where legally required
Where service providers process personal data on my behalf, they are used in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.
12. International Data Transfers
Some service providers, particularly global technology providers such as Google, may process information in countries outside Germany or the European Economic Area.

- general inquiries are deleted when they are no longer required, unless there is a legitimate reason for further retention;
- contract and customer information is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and applicable limitation periods;
- invoices, accounting records and tax-relevant documents are retained for the statutory retention periods;
- licensing information may be retained for the duration of the respective software license and for a reasonable period thereafter where necessary to document contractual rights, prevent misuse or resolve support issues.
Data will be deleted or anonymized when there is no longer a legal or legitimate reason to retain it.

Under the GDPR, you have the right, subject to the applicable legal requirements, to:
- obtain information about your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR);
- request correction of inaccurate personal data (Art. 16 GDPR);
- request deletion of personal data (Art. 17 GDPR);
- request restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR);
- receive certain personal data in a portable format (Art. 20 GDPR);
- object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR);
- withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
15. Right to Object
Where personal data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing on grounds relating to your particular situation.
If personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object to such processing at any time.
16. Right to Lodge a Complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates applicable data protection law.

Please note that data transmission over the internet, including communication by email, cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure.
18. No Automated Decision-Making
Personal data is not currently used for automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
19. No Sale of Personal Data
Personal data is not sold or rented to third parties.
20. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the website, AnyNC software, licensing system, payment methods or applicable legal requirements change.
