This Privacy Policy describes how Suryalya ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use the AnyCalc mobile application (the "App").
Account Information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and display name.
Support Communications: We may collect information you provide when you contact us for support or with inquiries.
Usage Data: We do NOT track your every click for marketing purposes. We collect limited usage data, such as app preferences and calculation counts, which are stored locally on your device. If you choose to submit feedback, we collect basic platform info to help us understand your request.
Device Information: To help us fix bugs and provide support, we may collect technical information about your mobile device, including the hardware model and operating system version. This is primarily done through our error reporting tool (Sentry) and when you voluntarily submit feedback.
Crash Logs and Performance Data: We use Sentry to collect technical data about app crashes to help us improve the App's stability.
We use the information we collect to:
Provide, maintain, and improve the App's functionality.
Synchronize your preferences and calculation history across devices (for signed-in users).
Personalize your experience within the App.
Communicate with you about updates, features, and support.
Monitor and analyze trends and usage to improve user experience.
Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or security vulnerabilities.
Local Storage: Your calculation history, favorites, and most app preferences (like theme and number format) are stored exclusively on your device and are NOT synced to the cloud.
Cloud Storage: For users with accounts, only basic profile information (email, display name) and notification preferences are securely stored and synced using Google Firebase (Google Cloud). This information is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
Security: We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure.
The App integrates with the following third-party services:
Google Firebase: Used for authentication, database storage, and notifications. Google's Privacy Policy
Sentry: Used for crash reporting and performance monitoring. Sentry's Privacy Policy
Expo: Used for app framework and updates. Expo's Privacy Policy
Data Deletion: You can delete your account and associated data at any time through the App settings (Settings -> Storage & Data -> Delete Account).
Access and Export: You can view and export your data from the App settings.
Guest Mode: You can use the App without creating an account, in which case no personal identity information (like email) is collected.
AnyCalc is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at the email address below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
