I am a PhD candidate in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School and a PhD Affiliate at the Center for International Development. My research spans development economics, political economy, and gender, with a regional focus on India.
My research examines gendered experiences across several domains, including the persistence of women’s political participation under gender quotas, potential backlash to female leadership, the impact of smartphone and mobile internet access on social and economic outcomes, and the gap between need and utilization of mental health services among undergraduate students.
Prior to my doctoral studies, I worked as a Research Associate in Raipur, Chhattisgarh and New Delhi in India.
