We solve fundamental and critical problems in marine hydrodynamics and fluid-structure interactions, primarily by employing various experimental methods. Particularly, problems in free-surface flows, wave impact on structures and hydroelasticity are studied extensively. We focus on the understanding of fundamental physics, discovery of novel phenomena, development of innovative experimental techniques and exploration of potential applications in emerging areas such as marine robotics, bio-inspired marine vessels and marine renewable energy.
